This week on Pitchmen: Billy and Sully focus on one product, and due to its inherent category; it is one of the most difficult products to sell. - Pitchmen Episode 5
Billy and Sully come face to face with two interesting products. Neither of which are really all that unique. One was invented by a seventeen year old kid, which is very impressive to say the least, but his product is a tough sell. His story may be t
Week 6
This week on Pitchmen:
We will take a look at two very interesting products. Both of these products do not address a daily problem that a lot of people have, but instead focus on specific niches.
Usually this is not a good idea for an "As Seen On TV" product, however with the demonstrations and the actual practicality of each of these products, it allow them to be successful.
The show was fairly entertaining this week, but there was something missing. One of the best aspects of the show is the feel good story of the inventors. This week, however both of the inventors are lame. One guy is a control freak and the other is an already rich jerk. It really took away from the show.
Enough about that....onto the products!
GRABIT
The GRABIT is a brilliant invention that addresses a not so common problem, but one that, until now, has been near impossible to solve.
GRABIT is a drill bit that easily removes stripped and damaged screws from anywhere. The way it works is by drilling special grooves into the damaged screw. Then the bit is flipped around and the other end fits into the grooves and pulls out the screw!
No more stripped screws stick in your walls or any other project you may be working on!
I say this product works! A lot of research and development has gone into the GRABIT and the demonstrations are believable. If you work in an environment that this problem occurs, or if you are just sick and tired of never being able to get out those damaged screws, this product is definitely worth the try.
The product originally failed with the first round of commercials, however the correct market needs to be reached.
For only $20 you can get the full set that can handle absolutely any type of screw. I would recommend this product for anyone who runs into this more than 5 times a year.

Tool Bandit
The Tool Bandit is not a very original product. It takes all the conveniences of a tool belt and makes it even more convenient.
Basically, the Tool Bandit is a magnetic armband capable of holding more than 25 pounds! A person wears it around their arm and can hang tools, nails, and anything else they may need while doing a project or their job.
At first, I thought this product would be a flop because carpenters wouldn't want to wear something that looked like this, but when marketed to the "do-it-yourself" crowd, the product makes perfect sense. It can be easily worn around the house while doing any project. It is extremely helpful.
Although the inventor was a big time douche, I was glad that the product succeeded in a big way. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes to work around the house, but it is pretty useless for anyone doing any real construction.
