Pitchmen Episode 2

Pitchmen aired its second show tonight, and I must say it was very entertaining. The show gives you a good feeling when someone who has risked everything they have and succeeds. Tonight was a perfect example. The inventor of the Dual Saw, a french firefighter looking to help his parents retire, found himself a new fortune with his amazing new product. The other focus product of the show, however was a flop, and I could have told you that with just one glimpse of what the inventor named the Shuffles.

The Omni Dual Saw is really an impressive product. It cuts through wood, metal, plastic, and just about anything you put in front of it with little effort! The idea was born of a fireman who wanted a safer saw to help save lives. A regular buzz saw just wasn't cutting it. (pun intended) So...he invented this new saw that has two blades rotating in opposite directions. There is no backfire, and it cuts at a much lower temperature so the fear of it causing fires when near gasoline or any other accelerant is moot.

The infomercial demonstrates the power of this saw by cutting through steel, wood, plexi-glass, and even cutting an entire car in half! No camera tricks on this one. The product really works. Not to mention it is lightweight and durable. If you are in the market for a saw, the Omni Dual Saw is the way to go.

Shuffles are just a useless product. They are creative, but not practical. The idea is to put these ridiculous looking sandals on your feet. They have a microfiber bottom that cleans the floor as you move around. In reality, it takes more energy and time to use your legs and feet to do the cleaning with this product than it does to just get on your hands and knees with a paper towel, or even just simply use a mop!

If you are the type of person that constantly needs to be texting, or have a use for both of your hands while you are cleaning, then sure, maybe Shuffles are good for you. I highly doubt that they will work very well though.
